Message from the President Hello everyone! We seem to be rocketing into autumn and for some of us the shorter days and cooler weather are something to dread. But on a more cheerful note, it is time to get back together with your fellow ophthalmic technicians for some great continuing education, catching up and learning new things. Many of us have been getting some of our continuing education online and that is great but nothing beats the face-to-face meeting with some of the best doctors in our area, who bring us the latest technology and most cutting edge procedures available. Meeting with technicians from other practices and specialties and learning how it is away from our own little areas gives us a wider perspective of the bigger world of ophthalmology. I want to thank each and every one of you for the privilege of being president this year and I hope that some new members will join the board of directors so we can keep passing on this excellent experience of the PROS with fresh ideas and new perspectives. If you have new ideas for us or want to suggest something we will welcome your input and your energy at a PROS board meeting. Thank you again, Kathy McNelis |
