Requirements: COA credits w/12 in group A, 27 COT credits w/18 in group A, and 36 COMT credits w/18 in group A; required for recertification every 3 years. Two years full-time work experience under ophthalmologic or optometric supervision; or graduation from accredited program for ophthalmic technicians plus one year work experience.
