Optometrist
The Division of Ophthalmology is seeking a full-time optometrist to provide optometric services to patients needing primarily diagnostic and refractive care at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The optometrist will perform complete vision exams as needed on new and established patients with a variety of childhood and adolescent eye and vision disorders. The optometrist will work closely with the CHOP ophthalmologist staff to coordinate care of patients, including referring more significant medical and surgical patients within the CHOP ophthalmology practice group as appropriate. The optometrist will maintain the high diagnostic and treatment standards of the practice, including accurate documentation of the services rendered, providing education to patients and families, and delivering prompt communication to referring doctors and other care providers.
