Office Technician
Busy medical practice seeks hard working, enthusiastic, and reliable person to work alongside our doctors and other clinical staff. This full-time position has lots of direct patient contact, so being a “people person” is important. Specific job tasks include: taking patient history, performing preliminary patient workups (measuring visual acuity, pupil exam, etc…), administering assorted computerized tests to our patients. In your role, you would help patients ranging in age from very young (with parents accompanying) to very old (often with children accompanying). Some patients may require limited assistance transferring to/from wheelchairs.
Medical experience and computer knowledge a plus. Eye/ophthalmology experience a strong plus. We will train the candidate with the right personality and work ethic.
